MINSK, 30 October (BelTA) – Belarus and Hungary discussed ways to ramp up all-round cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Ministry.
This issue was top on the agenda of the meeting between Ambassador of Belarus to Hungary Alexander Khainovsky and Deputy State Secretary of the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade Csaba Balogh who supervises bilateral relations with Belarus and the implementation of the foreign economic strategy of Hungary Opening to the East. The sides discussed the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, ways to enhance and expand trade, economic, political, cultural and humanitarian ties.
Special attention was paid to the implementation of agreements concluded at the session of the Belarus-Hungary inter-parliamentary commission for economic cooperation which took place in Minsk on 8-9 October. The meeting also focused on the cooperation between Belarus and the European Union and the talks to simplify the visa regime for the citizens of Belarus.
