MINSK, 14 September (BelTA) - Since 1 January 2026, Belarus has welcomed 174,284 travelers from 38 countries included in the visa-waiver program. The majority of travelers came from Lithuania, Latvia and Poland, BelTA learned from the State Border Committee.
“A total of 1,432,453 European residents have visited Belarus since 15 April 2022 when the visa waiver program was launched for Lithuanian and Latvian citizens, alongside Latvian non-citizen status holders, and expanded to Polish citizens on 1 July 2022. Belarus has welcomed 724,112 visitors from Lithuania, 455,667 people from Latvia and 160,882 visitors from Poland. On 19 July 2024 the visa-waiver program was extended to include 35 more countries. A total of 91,792 citizens of these countries have visited Belarus,” the State Border Committee said.
