MINSK, 11 November (BelTA)- Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei met with Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia David Jalagania as part of the Belarus-Georgia ministerial consultations in Minsk, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Minsitry of Foreign Affairs.
The parties noted the high level of understanding and trust and welcomed significant intensification of bilateral contacts at all levels in 2015.
Vladimir Makei and David Jalagania exchanged views on the implementation of the agreements reached during the official visit of Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko to Georgia in April 2015, discussed the issues of bilateral political cooperation, including the organization of an official visit of Georgia Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili to Belarus, and the ways to bolster trade and economic ties.
