MINSK, 8 September (BelTA) – The Consultative Council for Belarusians Abroad at the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs will hold its third meeting in Minsk on 8 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The meeting will take stock of joint activities and discuss plans and prospects for the future. The council comprises Belarusians living in 19 countries (Armenia, the United States, Israel, Spain, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Moldova, Poland, Russia, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, France, Germany, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, Estonia).
The meeting will be held as part of the celebrations of 950 years of the Belarusian capital and the third edition of the Belarusians of the World art festival. A commemorative sign for the Belarusian diaspora will be unveiled on 8 September.
