MINSK, 20 March (BelTA) – Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei is expected to pay a visit to the Sultanate of Oman on 20-21 March, BelTA learned from the press service of the ministry.
Vladimir Makei is expected to meet with government officials, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, the State Council, the Consultative Assembly, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and also businessmen of Oman.
The parties are expected to sign a memorandum of understanding between the Sports and Tourism Ministry of Belarus and the Tourism Ministry of Oman.
The Belarusian Foreign Minister is also set to take part in the opening ceremony of the office of the Belarusian Honorary Consul to Belarus Qais Al Yousef.
The visit of the Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs will reaffirm a high level of bilateral relations and promote new agreements in different areas.
