Belarus-Equatorial Guinea draft intergovernmental agreements approved

MINSK, 29 November (BelTA) – Belarus President Aleksandr Lukashenko has signed decrees to approve draft agreements with Equatorial Guinea as the basis for negotiations, BelTA has learned.

In particular, a draft intergovernmental agreement on encouragement and mutual protection of investments was approved. The Economy Ministry was authorized to conduct negotiations on this document. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs was authorized to sign the agreement if the parties come to terms within limits of the approved draft.

The Tax and Duties Ministry was authorized to conduct negotiations on the draft intergovernmental agreement on avoiding double taxation and on preventing tax evasion with regard to taxes on revenues and property. The Tax and Duties Ministry was also authorized to sign the agreement if the parties come to terms within limits of the approved draft.

The State Customs Committee was authorized to conduct negotiations on the draft intergovernmental agreement on cooperation and mutual aid in customs affairs and sign the agreement if the parties come to terms within limits of the approved draft.
