Belarus, Egypt discuss institutional contacts, praise strong bilateral ties

MINSK, 16 July (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt Yevgeny Sobolevsky met with Egypt’s Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs for Protocol Ayman El-Desouki Youssef, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties noted the high level of Belarusian-Egyptian relations and the convergence of the two countries’ positions on various issues on the regional and international agenda.

The diplomats also discussed the organization of upcoming institutional contacts and other protocol aspects of bilateral interaction.
