MINSK, 20 September (BelTA) – During a meeting in New York, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Ecuadorian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Migration Guillaume Long stressed the need to organize high- and top-level meetings to give a new impetus to the bilateral relations, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Vladimir Makei and Guillaume Long also discussed ways to address the decline in the trade and economic cooperation between Belarus and Ecuador.
The Ecuadorian diplomat briefed Vladimir Makei about the situation in the country and the region and stressed Belarus’ importance for Ecuador as a trade and economic partner.
