MINSK, 19 October (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Ecuador Igor Poluyan and the newly-appointed Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador Javier Lasso discussed the expansion of the cooperation in the UN and the Non-Aligned Movement, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed the ways of deepening the interstate dialogue, further expansion of cooperation between the two countries in the United Nations, the Non-Aligned Movement and other international organizations, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed.

The diplomats also considered the development of scientific, technological and educational cooperation, and the implementation of joint economic projects.
