MINSK, 5 June (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to Ecuador Igor Poluyan met with acting Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ecuador - Undersecretary for Supra regional International Organizations Diego Morejon Pazmino on 4 June 2015, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed the development of bilateral dialogue at the highest level, the state and prospects of cooperation between Belarus and Ecuador within international organizations, including human rights organizations, and the preparation of the delegations of the two countries for participation in the 70th session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The parties also discussed the participation of Ecuador in the second seminar of the Group of Friends United against Human Trafficking (Minsk, 30-31 July 2015), and a number of other issues of mutual interest.
