Belarus eager to expand cooperation with Slovenia

PORTOROZ, 19 November (BelTA) – Belarus intends to continue expanding cooperation with Slovenia. Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna made the statement as she met with Stanislav Rascan, head of the center for analysis and strategic research of the Slovenian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on 19 November, BelTA has learned.

The meeting was part of the itinerary of Alena Kupchyna’s visit to Slovenia. The negotiations focused on expanding Belarusian-Slovenian interaction, the development of Belarus-EU dialogue, and the implementation of joint projects in the sphere of analytical activities.

Apart from that, the Belarusian Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs visited the Economy Department of the Ljubljana University where she met with representatives of the administration and students. The sides agreed to promote contacts between Belarusian and Slovenian educational institutions that focus on economics. An agreement on cooperation and partnership was signed between the School of Business and Management of Technology of the Belarusian State University and the Economy Department of the Ljubljana University.

After that Alena Kupchyna took part in the 17th international business conference, which is scheduled to take place in Slovenian Portoroz on 18-19 November.
