MINSK, 5 April (BelTA) – The 12th meeting of the Belarusian-Cuban Commission for Military-Technical Cooperation has opened in Minsk, BelTA learned from the State Authority for Military Industry of the Republic of Belarus.
The commission meeting is co-chaired by First Deputy Chairman of the State Authority for Military Industry of the Republic of Belarus Oleg Mishchenko and Head of the Main Financial Directorate of the Ministry of the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Cuba, Brigadier General Óscar Enrique Biosca Gallego. The parties assessed the current state of their military-technical cooperation, reviewed progress on previously reached agreements, and identified promising avenues for future collaboration.
The commission’s work will wrap up on 6 April. Yet the key result is already clear: the parties have reasserted their shared commitment to strengthening ties and have identified specific measures to broaden cooperation between Belarus and Cuba.
