MINSK, 21 October (BelTA) – Consul General of the Republic of Belarus in Istanbul Vladimir Mironovich and Governor of Istanbul Vasip Sahin discussed ways to bolster the twinning ties between the Turkish city and the Belarusian city of Gomel on 21 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed promising cooperation avenues, including opportunities for expanding the economic cooperation and the participation of Turkish companies in investment projects in Belarus.

Special attention was paid to the development of tourism and student exchanges.
