Belarus, China’s Chongqing outline prospects for cooperation

MINSK, 5 February (BelTA) – Belarus' Consul General in Chongqing of China Dmitry Yemelyanov met with Li Mingquan, Deputy Director General of the Foreign Affairs Office of the Chongqing Municipal People's Government, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Chongqing.

Dmitry Yemelyanov and Li Mingquan took stock of joint work in 2025. They also outlined directions for bilateral cooperation in the current year.

The meeting discussed a wide range of cooperation topics. In particular, the parties touched upon organizing bilateral visits within the framework of sister-city relations, expanding trade and economic ties, and strengthening investment cooperation.

The parties also explored opportunities for cooperation in manufacturing, science, technology, and education.
