Belarus, China discuss cooperation in trade in services

MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the People's Republic of China Yuri Senko met with Secretary General of the China Association on Trade in Services (CATIS) Zhong Zeyu on 25 January, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Beijing.

The parties discussed bilateral trade and economic cooperation in the trade in services. The Belarusian diplomat and the head of the association reached an agreement on cooperation in e-commerce, transport, logistics, finance.

Yuri Senko emphasized that Belarus is ready to actively participate in the events of the association. He also pointed to the importance of using modern cooperation mechanisms to promote the export of high-quality Belarusian products to the Chinese market. The CATIS head expressed interest in the proposals discussed at the meeting.
