Belarus, China agree to expand cooperation in training managerial personnel

MINSK, 8 April (BelTA) - On 7 April, Beijing hosted a meeting between Denis Duka, Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the aegis of the President of the Republic of Belarus, and Xie Chuntao, member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and Vice President of the Party School of the CPC Central Committee, the Belarusian Embassy in China told BelTA.

During the talks, the parties held a substantive discussion on current issues of bilateral cooperation in public administration, professional and advanced training of personnel, as well as the exchange of analytical and research expertise. Special attention was given to Belarus’ study of China’s experience in party building and state governance, viewed as one of the key factors behind the country’s stable socio-economic development.

The Chinese side expressed its readiness to expand cooperation in education and invited mid‑ and senior‑level Belarusian public officers to participate in short-term training programs offered by the CPC Central Party School. These programs will help deepen the professional competencies of Belarusian managers and familiarize them with advanced Chinese practices in public administration.

A memorandum of cooperation was signed following the meeting. It provides for the development of partnership between the two institutions, the implementation of joint educational, scientific, and expert-analytical projects, and the expansion of academic exchanges.

The agreements reached confirm the mutual interest of the Republic of Belarus and the People’s Republic of China in further strengthening their strategic partnership, expanding practical cooperation, and advancing collaboration in the training of highly qualified managerial personnel.
