MINSK, 24 September (BelTA) – Belarus and Bulgaria have plans to conclude agreements on cooperation in sports, agriculture, and investment during the fifth session of the Belarus-Bulgaria intergovernmental commission for trade, economic, scientific, and technical cooperation in Minsk on 24-25 September, spokesperson for the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Dmitry Mironchik told journalists on 24 September, BelTA has learned.
During the plenary session of the intergovernmental commission, the sides will discuss the current state and prospects of the bilateral cooperation in industry, agriculture, standardization, transport, science, technologies, sports, tourism, investment, and interaction at the regional level.
A Belarus-Bulgaria business forum will take place at the Minsk Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry on 24 September. The forum has been organized by the National Center for Marketing and Price Study.
The fifth session of the intergovernmental commission was preceded by a meeting between Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei and Bulgarian Deputy Economy Minister Daniela Vezieva who is chairing the Bulgarian part of the intergovernmental commission.
The Belarusian delegation at the session is headed by Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Alena Kupchyna.
Daniela Vezieva will also meet with Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Anton Kudasov.
