Belarus, Arab League discuss schedule of high-level events

MINSK, 23 September (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt, Belarus’ Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States (the Arab League) Sergei Terentiev met with Assistant Secretary General for International Political Affairs of the League of Arab States Khaled Al Habbas on 23 September, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties welcomed the high level of mutual understanding and support on the international arena between Belarus and the Arab League member states.

The talks focused on the development of bilateral relations with organizations of the League of Arab States, such as the Arab Organization for Agricultural Development, the Arab Industrial Development and Mining Organization, the Arab Atomic Energy Agency, and the Arab League Educational, Cultural and Scientific Organization.

The parties also discussed the schedule of upcoming high-level bilateral events.
