MINSK, 26 October (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt, Belarus’ Permanent Representative to the League of Arab States (LAS) Sergei Rachkov met with LAS Secretary General Ahmed Aboul-Ghei to discuss the prospects for economic cooperation, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“During the meeting the parties discussed the prospects of cooperation between Belarus and the Member States of the League of Arab States in economic, political and humanitarian areas,” the ministry informed.

Consideration was also given to the possibility of holding joint events.
