MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) - Ambassador of Belarus to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Andrei Luchenok presented a copy of his credentials to Under-Secretary at the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Ahmed Sari Al Mazrouei, BelTA learned from the embassy.
“The parties discussed the state of relations and ways to step up mutually beneficial cooperation between Belarus and the UAE in politics, trade, economy, and other areas of mutual interest,” the embassy noted.
Andrei Luchenok has been appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the United Arab Emirates and concurrently to the State of Kuwait, the Kingdom of Bahrain, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The new ambassador ill be working to increase Belarusian exports and bring more UAE investment to Belarus.
