MINSK, 13 November (BelTA) – Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Maxim Ryzhenkov received copies of the credentials from Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Algeria to Russia and Belarus (non-resident) Toufik Djouama, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Foreign Affairs Ministry.
The parties discussed current issues of cooperation between Belarus and Algeria. Particular attention was paid to preparations for upcoming highest-level contacts, including the expansion of the treaty and legal framework, the development of joint economic projects, the growth of mutual trade, strengthening ties between business circles, and expanding cooperation in healthcare and education.

The parties confirmed their committement to further joint work to intensify bilateral relations. They exchanged congratulations to mark the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Belarus and Algeria, which took place on 24 October this year.
