Andreichenko, Volodin discuss pending issues in Belarus-Russia relations

MOSCOW, 26 December (BelTA) – Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko and Speaker of the State Duma of Russia Vyacheslav Volodin discussed pending issues in the Belarusian-Russian relations. Vladimir Andreichenko told reporters about this meeting when he summed up the results of the session of the Belarus-Russia Union State Parliamentary Assembly (Union State PA) in Moscow on 26 December, BelTA informs.

“We have discussed a number of pending issues in the Belarusian-Russian relations,” Vladimir Andreichenko said. “These are the issues regarding the harmonized industrial policy, and the access of products to the markets of our states.”

The speakers agreed that the Parliamentary Assembly should pay more attention to the implementation of the Union State programs and supervise the implementation of PA’s decisions. “The main thing is to step up efforts in the harmonization and unification of our legal frameworks,” Vladimir Andreichenko concluded.
