MINSK, 25 May (BelTA) – During the visit of the Belarusian delegation to Ecuador, Chairman of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly Vladimir Andreichenko met with President of Bolivia Evo Morales, BelTA learnt from the press service of the House of Representatives.
According to the press service, the parties discussed the ways of intensifying an interstate dialogue.
Earlier Vladimir Andreichenko had attended an inauguration ceremony of President of the Republic of Ecuador Rafael Correa Delgado. In his inauguration speech Rafael Correa took note of Belarus' successes in social and economic development. The country’s improved position in HDI rankings testify to the fact. The Ecuadorian leader stressed that this factor is the best testimony of the right path chosen by the country’s authorities.
Attending the event, apart from the representatives of Belarus, were about 100 delegations. Among the guests were the Presidents of Venezuela, Bolivia, Haiti, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, Columbia, Costa-Rica, Chili, the Prince of Asturias (Spain), the Vice-Presidents of Argentina, Brazil, Nicaragua and Cuba.
