Ambassador welcomes incentives conducive to Belarus-China projects

MINSK, 10 September (BelTA) – Belarus president directive No. 5 will contribute to the vigorous implementation of Belarusian-Chinese joint projects. Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Cui Qiming made the statement during the roundtable session held in Minsk on 10 September to highlight Belarus’ advantages and prospects in building the Silk Road Economic Belt, BelTA has learned.

The head of the Chinese diplomatic mission stressed that the document outlines directions for further advancement of Belarus-China relations. Cui Qiming said he believes that among other things the directive will be conducive to Belarus’ participation in the Silk Road Economic Belt initiative.

The Ambassador of China said: “Both sides are ready to cooperate on the platform of the China-Belarus Industrial Park. And ready to implement projects, in particular, in mechanical engineering, information technologies, investments and finance for the sake of achieving success in building the Silk Road Economic Belt.”
