Snopkov: Chinese partners attracted by stability in Belarus

MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – Chinese partners are attracted by stability in Belarus, Deputy Head of the Belarus President’s Administration Nikolai Snopkov said in an interview to the Belarus 1 TV Channel, BelTA has learned.

“Apart from the country’s favorable geographic position, Chinese partners, to my opinion, are lured by two things in Belarus – the country’s stability and qualified workforce. Talented and highly qualified people, their discipline play a very important role in the building of the future of the two countries,” Nikolai Snopkov said.

According to the Deputy Head of the Belarus President’s Administration, Belarus is ready to secure a transit of goods from the east to the west. “We also believe that Belarus should become a logistic hub in China’s Silk Road project,” he noted.

Nikolai Snopkov is confident that big investors will be interested in the Belarusian-Chinese Industrial Park Great Stone. “The global competition for investors is high. We should create favorable conditions for doing business. We are ready for this. The park will provide the best working conditions in comparison with the countries of the region as well as from the viewpoint of easy access, tax and customs preferences. If necessary, we are ready to improve these conditions,” he said.
