Serbia hopes to build up trade with Belarus

MINSK, 27 January (BelTA) - Serbia hopes to build up trade with Belarus, Serbian Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic said during a meeting with Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko in Minsk on 27 January, BelTA has learned.

Aleksandar Vucic thanked Belarus for providing great support to Serbia in maintaining its integrity and sovereignty. He expressed the view that every effort must be made to increase the Serbian-Belarusian cooperation in politics, economy. Trade is especially important. The Serbian Prime Minister is convinced that Belarus and Serbia will be able to bolster trade by joint efforts. These issues are high on the agenda of his visit to Minsk. Specific agreements have been reached already.
