Rapota: Belarus, Russia have common information space

MINSK, 13 May (BelTA) – Belarus and Russia have common information space, State Secretary of the Union State Grigory Rapota told media on 13 May, BelTA has learned.

“I believe we have common information space. Interpenetration is sufficient. While in Moscow I have no difficulties to learn about the latest news here, and, while staying in Belarus, it is easy to learn what is going on in Moscow,” Grigory Rapota said.

Knowledge brings understanding, and understanding provides sympathy, he said. According to opinion polls, the majority of Russians treat Belarusians with respect. The same attitude they show to the institutions that operate in the Union State. This proves a high level of information awareness.
