Preserving the historical past is essential for the development of independent Belarus

MINSK, 4 July (BelTA) – Preserving the historical past is essential for the development of independent Belarus, Deputy Head of the President’s Administration of Belarus Igor Buzovsky said as he opened the mobile exposition “Belarus’ liberation. September 1943 - July 1944” at the Museum of the Great Patriotic War, BelTA has learned.

Igor Buzovsky noted that the country will have economic and political future only if the society respects the culture and values of the Belarusian people. The preservation of our historical past is crucial for building our independent state,” he stressed.

The Deputy Head of the Belarusian President’s Administration said that the mobile exposition, a new project of the museum, is important to both the museum and the country, and expressed confidence that the project will have a long life.

Mobile exposition “Belarus’ liberation. September 1943 - July 1944” at the Museum of the Great Patriotic WarOn 3 July the mobile exposition entitled Belarus’ Liberation. September 1943-July 1944 opened at the Belarusian State Museum of the Great Patriotic War. The project was implemented jointly with the Embassy of China to Belarus. Its major goal is to make the museum more available to people from far corners of Belarus.
