Opinion: Consolidation of society guarantees gradual forward movement in all fields

MOGILEV, 26 April (BelTA) – One of the main ideas of the Belarus president’s State of the Nation Address is to consolidate the society and all economic sectors to ensure a gradual and positive forward movement, Chairman of the Mogilev Oblast Association of Trade Unions Dmitry Yankov told BelTA.

“To achieve results, the companies and entire economic sectors need to team up in the economic market. Only close cooperation will help manufacture high-quality in-demand competitive products that will contribute to the development of the society and state,” Dmitry Yankov underlined.

In his words, the format of the Address is very relevant. “Today many promising young people become mid-ranking and top-ranking officials. It is necessary for them to hear the ideas, proposals, and recommendations on the development of our society and the Belarusian economy voiced by the head of state. This gives them an opportunity to make up their mind about the topical issues and problems that have to be solved in the first place,” Dmitry Yankov remarked.

“The economy is day-to-day work of thousands of people from top officials to regular workers. This subject received the closest attention from the president ahead of the Labor Day, an international holiday which symbolizes the solidarity of workers and the unity of the society in its effort to achieve peace, prosperity, and stable sustainable development,” he summarized.
