Naryshkin: Stability is crucial for Belarus’ development
Sergey Naryshkin

MINSK, 22 October (BelTA) – It is of paramount importance to retain stability to enable the state and society to keep developing, Director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service Sergey Naryshkin told reporters commenting on the situation in Belarus on 22 October, BelTA has learned.

“The influence from the outside is obvious. We see this in Russia, too. Our counterparts, employees of the State Security Committee of Belarus, also see it. This influence is not selfless. Of course, we see a determination to use unconstitutional methods to change the existing power structure,” Sergey Naryshkin said.

He expressed confidence that stability is important for Belarus. “The constitutional reform that has already begun will provide answers to many questions. At the same time, maintaining stability is an extremely important factor for the development of the state and society,” the director of Russia’s Foreign Intelligence Service said.
