Myasnikovich invites Pakistan to develop joint transparent business

MINSK, 11 August (BelTA) - The Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich offers the Pakistani partners to develop joint transparent business. Mikhail Myasnikovich made this statement as he met with Pakistani Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif in Minsk on 11 August, BelTA has learned.

According to the Speaker, today both commodity and investment cooperation is hindered by insufficient solvency of companies. "We believe that we could use outsourcing. For example, Belarus creates a Belarusian company or a Pakistani-Belarusian company or companies in Pakistan which will be registered as residents of Pakistan. This company will be equipped by Belarus. For example we will provide the entire range of quarry equipment (dumpers, loaders) to carry out mining operations. And the company will perform special services that are paid for by your company-customer. In fact, we provide product leasing which does not require big one-time investment expenses on your part,” the Speaker said. These points of growth, he said, will allow creating service and logistic centers, i.e. infrastructure of joint business. "My proposal is to create a joint business, transparent and partnership business which means mutually beneficial and mutually respectful. Our request is that you suggest us reliable partners," the Speaker said.

Speaking about regional cooperation, Chairman of the Council of the Republic said: We would be very grateful if you instructed the provincial administrations to consider the suggestions of our regions on all economic issues of mutual interest. The Council of the Republic, as the parliamentary body of regional representation in Belarus, is ready to provide support to these proposals and projects which we will send through diplomatic channels. And it would be great if they became the subject of your personal attention,” he said.

In the education sector, Mikhail Myasnikovich suggested joint training of specialists. "For example, students take the first two years of training in your universities under the joint programs, and then take three years in Belarusian universities and get the diplomas recognized in the European Union and other Western states. We can discuss the language of training," said the Speaker.

He also highlighted the training of skilled workers such as electricians, mechanics, adjusters. "We suggest training these professionals in your country, to your needs, under the guidance of our highly qualified teachers," added Mikhail Myasnikovich.
