Mogilev Oblast Governor: Mill of Success forum expands the geography of its participants

MOGILEV, 4 November (BelTA) – The international investment forum Mill of Success is becoming more global, expanding the geography of its participating states and increasing the number of its guests, Mogilev Oblast Governor Vladimir Domanevsky said opening the 8th edition of the forum on 4 November, BelTA has learned.

“The forum has gathered representatives of 32 countries, which proves the interest of potential investors to Belarus in general and Mogilev Oblast in particular,” noted Vladimir Domanevsky. He stressed that today business plays a crucial role in securing stability and sustainable development of the area. Investment resources are attracted not only to set up new companies, create jobs, increase the tax base but also to enhance the level of economic development and improve the quality of people’s life.

We are located in the center of Europe and link the Eurasian Economic Union and European Union. But what is the country and our region are most proud of is our highly-qualified specialists,” the governor believes. In his opinion, the investment forum is a good opportunity to make a statement, reaffirm our territorial significance and attractiveness, demonstrate readiness to meet investors halfway.

The oblast has created all necessary conditions, including efficient legislation, a strong manufacturing and intellectual base, well-developed transport infrastructure,” said the Governor. The implementation of big investment projects was the result of the abovementioned efforts. “We are ready for constructive cooperation in all the areas and also to provide support to any good business projects that will work for the sustainable development of the region,” said Vladimir Domanevsky.
