Lukashenko: We must love our native country

Lukashenko: We must love our native country

ZHLOBIN, 25 September (BelTA) – Our people must love Belarus, maintain peace and security in the country, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said at a meeting with the personnel of Belarusian Steel Works (BMZ trademark) in Zhlobin on 25 September, BelTA has learned.

“A person must love his county and believe that it is a warm and comfortable home. This is the main concern of the President. And we are doing our best to ensure it. The situation will not become worse. I can guarantee it,” the head of state assured.

Lukashenko: We must love our native countryThe President stressed that the majority of social and political calamities in all countries are caused by internal factors. Neighboring Ukraine where thefts and corruption led to the gravest consequences is an example.

“Even if the President is not ideal, neither he nor the government robbed the country. We did not ruin it. There are pending issues. But if people see that the government does not consist of robbers, they will be patient and will endure everything. If we sink into corruption and robbery, divide the country, we will crumble even quicker than Ukraine,” the Belarusian leader stressed.
