MINSK, 18 December (BelTA) – The Belarusian people are the strongest and most courageous people, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said in his Address to the Belarusian People and Parliament, BelTA has learned.
“To me, the Belarusian people are the strongest and most courageous. Because I am their president, and defending their interests is my foremost duty,” Aleksandr Lukashenko stated.
He acknowledged that the world has changed and adaptation is necessary. “While I speak of certain breakthroughs, my guiding principle is this: adapt, persevere through this period in the Belarusian way, which is calmly. We have more than enough intelligent people. What’s needed is a wake-up call and the understanding that nobody is going to fix our problems for us,” the president emphasized.
