Lukashenko sends Neutrality Day greetings to Turkmenistan

MINSK, 12 December (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to Turkmenistan President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov as the country celebrates International Neutrality Day, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“The overall recognition of a big contribution of Turkmenistan to the enhancement of peace and security has been confirmed by the adoption of the International Neutrality Day Resolution by the United Nations General Assembly. The Republic of Belarus not only supported this decision but also became its first co-author having demonstrated the unity of the foreign policy principles of our countries,” the message of greetings reads.

The head of state expressed confidence that Belarus-Turkmenistan relations relying on trust and mutual respect will be increasingly vibrant.
