Lukashenko sends greetings to participants of Minsk Book Fair

MINSK, 11 February (BelTA) – Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants of the 22nd Minsk International Book Fair and the International Symposium of Writers “Writer and Time”, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian leader.

“Several generations of Belarusians are fond of books, which characters were role models, which helped develop the worldview, fostered commitment to the Homeland, developed the ability to find a way out from difficult life situations,” the message of greetings reads.

“For us it is extremely important that the thoughtful and sensitive ideas of writers help bolster the principles of morality, the feeling of responsibility of a person for the future of the country, promote mercy and kindness, and help consolidate the society in the face of the threats and challenges of the 21st century,” the President noted.

The head of state wished productive work, creative achievements, happiness and wellbeing to the participants and guests of the forum.
