Lukashenko sends greetings to participants of European RG Championships
MINSK, 30 April (BelTA) – President of Belarus, President of the National Olympic Committee Alexander Lukashenko has sent greetings to the participants and guests of the 31st European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships, BelTA learned from the press service of the head of state.
“Minsk hosts a large-scale sport event – the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Championships – which has brought together the best athletes. The holding of a sport event of this level is another testimony of the authority of the Belarusian rhythmic gymnastics school which is rich in famous names and victories,” the message of greetings reads.
Alexander Lukashenko noted that in recent years Belarus often hosts the most prestigious international competitions in various sports. The participants have a good opportunity to learn more about the country and find friends.
“I am convinced that the championship will present many great moments and will inspire young people to make new sports achievements,” the President emphasized.
Alexander Lukashenko wished great competition and every success to the athletes, bright emotions and unforgettable memories to the guests, productive work to the organizers of the tournament.
