Lukashenko: Belarus, Venezuela should make a resolute step to develop relations

MINSK, 5 October (BelTA) – Belarus and Venezuela should make a resolute step in the development of their relations, Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko said at the one-on-one negotiations with Venezuela President Nicolas Maduro on 5 October, BelTA has learned.

“Our meeting is important because we need to make a new resolute step in the development of our relations,” Alexander Lukashenko said.

The president stressed that the Belarusian side is prepared for it.

The two leaders are holding a one-on-one meeting. After that there will be an extended meeting with the members of the delegations. The parties will discuss a wide range of issues of the trade and economic cooperation, including the implementation of bilateral projects, the operation of joint assembly enterprises, the development of interaction in agriculture, construction, oil and gas industry, and other sectors.
