The largest ones have come from the Russian Federation and China. Companies from Germany, Slovakia and Poland are taking part in the expo for the first time. “We will do our best to create the most favorable conditions for our traditional and potential partners to get familiar with Belarus’ high-technology military and double-purpose potential,” Andrei Kobyakov said during the opening ceremony.

Today, the national defense and industrial complex, which is represented by experienced engineers and highly-qualified specialists, develops modern and in many ways unique specimen of armament, military and special-purpose equipment. “Belarus is showcasing the state-of-the-art mobile armored vehicle Kaiman. Andrei Kobyakov expressed confidence that MILEX 2017 would make a considerable contribution to the further development of military and technical cooperation with foreign states, the strengthening of business ties and would promote the strengthening of Belarus’ international image. Its format makes it possible to open new prospects for building up integration ties, create unique opportunities for its participants and guests to study the market of armament, the head of government stressed.
