Kiev mayor: Belarusian equipment meets European standards

MINSK, 5 April (BelTA) – Kiev Mayor Vitali Klitschko praised the quality of BELARUS tractors, BelTA learned from the official website of Minsk Tractor Works after the presentation of the Belarusian utility vehicles to the Kiev authorities.

In Kiev, Minsk Tractor Works showcased several lines of tractors designed for the use by municipal services. Tractors BELARUS with different attachments are used in cleaning and preparing territories, at construction sites, and also by municipal and road services.

“We have been successfully cooperating with Belarusian partners. Thirty tractors we have bought have operated well through the season, without any breakdowns,” Vitali Klitschko said at the exposition of Minsk Tractor Works.

The Kiev Mayor test drove tractor BELARUS-622. “The impressions are good. The Kiev utility services will need such machinery. We plan to announce new tenders and renew the city’s utility fleet,” Vitali Klitschko told the media.

The Kiev authorities will pay attention both to the price and quality of the product, the mayor said. “Belarusian equipment meets the European standards. We will continue working with our Belarusian partners,” Vitali Klitschko said.

MTZ Holding has developed a special line of compact tractors and utility vehicles EkoGorod, fitted with Euro-3A engines with the capacity of 36-63hp.
