France hopes to promote all-round relations with Belarus

MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) - France hopes to promote all-round relations with Belarus, reads a message from French Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development Jean-Marc Ayrault to Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two nations, BelTA learned from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus.

“I deeply and sincerely hope for the long-term development of our relations in all fields: economy, politics and university cooperation. We must constantly promote the development of the relations and take all measures to implement our joint projects,” the message says.

The minister noted that the countries have all the possibilities to expand the interaction. “I am happy that the next meeting of the joint economic commission will be held in Belarus. It was preceded by the second successful session which was held in Paris in May 2016,” the minister said.
