Cui Qiming: Development of relations with Belarus is part of China’s consistent political course

MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) – Sustainable development of relations with Belarus is part of a consistentpolitical course of the Chinese government, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Cui Qiming stated at the event held on 4 June to mark the successful state visit of Chinese leader Xi Jinping to Minsk, BelTA informs.

According to the diplomat, great results were achieved during the visit on 10-12 May thanks to China-Belarus joint efforts and cooperation. In his words, the visit is of great importance for advancing the Chinese-Belarusian relations, strengthening cooperation in various areas.

According to Cui Qiming, Belarus’ support and assistance contributed to a successful visit of the Chinese leader to Belarus and China appreciates it highly.

The Ambassador emphasized the importance of the talks that took place between Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko and Chinese leader Xi Jinping. The talks helped build up more contacts, strengthen mutual trust. The two heads of state signed a treaty of friendship and cooperation, a joint declaration on further development and strengthening of the comprehensive strategic partnership which defined the areas of further development of the Chinese-Belarusian relations. Besides, the two Presidents presided at the Belarusian-Chinese interregional business forum, visited the Chinese-Belarusian Industrial Park and met with war veterans.

According to the Chinese diplomat, China in cooperation with Belarus intends to implement all the agreements reached during the visit.
