Cui Qiming: Chinese-Belarusian relations are increasingly vibrant

MINSK, 30 September (BelTA) – The Chinese-Belarusian relations are increasingly vibrant, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China to Belarus Cui Qiming said at the event timed to the 66th anniversary of the founding of the People’s Republic of China on 29 September, BelTA has learned.

The diplomat stressed that Belarus and China are connected by all-round strategic partnership relying on mutual respect and trust. “China is proud of having such strategic partner as Belarus and sees good prospects in the development of bilateral relations,” Cui Qiming said. He also stressed that China does its best to promote the strategy to implement the One Belt, One Road project, enhances international cooperation in the manufacturing sector, uses all tools for productive development together with other countries.

China and other states celebrated the 70th anniversary of victory the Sino-Japanese War and the Second World War. China demonstrated resolution in the protection of peace and a strong commitment to peaceful development to the whole world.

“In 2015 the Chinese-Belarusian relations have reached a new stage of development, the leaders of the two countries exchanged visits this year. The two heads of state reached new important agreements in the enhancement of strategic partnership,” the Ambassador remarked.

According to Cui Qiming, it is important that the two countries advance political cooperation, bolster trade, economic and humanitarian relations, intensify contacts between regions, and enhance international on the international agenda.
