MINSK, 11 February (BelTA) – China is eager to enhance humanitarian cooperation with Belarus, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People’s Republic of China to Belarus Cui Qiming said at the Belarusian-Chinese forum of publishers and writers which took place as part of the 22nd Minsk International Book Fair, BelTA has learned.

The diplomat praised the fact that China is the Guest of Honor of the prestigious book fair. “It is a great honor for us. We would like Belarusian people to learn more about the books of China,” Cui Qiming said. The Chinese stand displays about 5,000 books of various genres.

The Ambassador also pointed out the importance of the Belarusian-Chinese forum of publishers and writers. According to Cui Qiming, China and Belarus are good friends and partners. They are linked by sincere friendship. For 23 years the Belarusian-Chinese diplomatic relations have been increasingly vibrant.
