Cuban president: We admire Belarus and its people

MINSK, 25 June (BelTA) - The Cuban people admire Belarus and the Belarusian people, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez told the media on 25 June following talks with Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko at the Palace of Independence in Minsk, BelTA has learned.

“Belarus and its people are the nation and country that Cuba and the Cuban people admire,” Miguel Diaz-Canel Bermudez said.

He emphasized the sensitivity, understanding and will to help from Belarus and the country’s leadership, to cooperate together with Cuba amid a complicated situation the country is experiencing.
