Call for more active interparliamentary dialogue between Belarus, UAE

MINSK, 29 September (BelTA) – It is necessary to step up dialogue between the parliaments of Belarus and the United Arab Emirates. Chairman of the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus Mikhail Myasnikovich made the statement on 29 September as he met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the UAE to Belarus Mohammed Abdullah Al-Ghafli on the occasion of the end of the ambassador’s diplomatic mission, BelTA has learned.

Mikhail Myasnikovich noted: “In my opinion it would be a good idea to invigorate the dialogue between the National Assembly of Belarus and the UAE Federal National Council. I would be grateful if you happen to convey my warmest regards to your parliamentarians and tell them that there are reliable partners in Belarus, with whom one can build mutually beneficial contacts.”

Call for more active interparliamentary dialogue between Belarus, UAEMikhail Myasnikovich also remarked that of the Persian Gulf countries it is the United Arab Emirates with which Belarus is building the most trustful and greatest ties. “There is no doubt we are very much interested in advancing mutually beneficial partnering relations with other Gulf countries, too, and we manage to do just that,” said the head of the upper chamber of the Belarus parliament.

Mikhail Myasnikovich also thanked the diplomat for his work in Belarus.
