Belarus President Administration urged to be example of government optimization

MINSK, 6 February (BelTA) – The Belarus President Administration should be in the vanguard of the government bodies’ optimization, President Alexander Lukashenko said at the session held on 6 February to discuss the optimization in the Belarus President Administration, BelTA informs.

Alexander Lukashenko reminded that when appointing the head and first deputy head of the Belarus President Administration some time ago he gave an instruction to reform this organization in a calm and rational manner. “As the political headquarters of the head of state, it should be in the vanguard of the government bodies’ optimization, be an example of the renewal and optimization that we have started,” the President said.

In his words, first of all, it is essential for raising the efficiency of the state apparatus. “Fewer resources can be used to perform tasks in various fields,” the Belarusian leader emphasized.

In this context, the head of state once again enumerated major requirements concerning the optimization of the Belarus President Administration. “First, you should produce and accumulate progressive ideas that are very important for the development of our state. There are enough such ideas in our society. The Big Conversation With the President proved it. The Belarus President Administration should become a monolithic expert center for taking balanced decisions on the issues of paramount importance for the state. I want its leadership to ensure well coordinated and efficient work. You should be a united team using the skills, experience, and energy of all members for common good,” the President said.

Alexander Lukashenko urged to continue the efforts to reduce red tape, improve performance discipline, spoke about the work of the president’s aides.

The meeting also focused on the need to improve the national ideology and build a corresponding system of work with the population.

As far as the economy is concerned, the head of state wants the Belarus President Administration to thoroughly analyze all initiatives and draft resolutions, especially their compliance with the social policy of the state. To cope with this task, the Belarus President Administration should involve expert circles in various fields.

The President also gave instructions to analyze the efficiency of organizations subordinate to the Belarus President Administration.

“All instructions of the President must be immediately fulfilled,” the Belarusian leader stressed.
