Belarus looks forward to even more rapid growth of trade with Russia

MINSK, 29 May (BelTA) - Belarus looks forward to even more rapid growth of trade with Russia, Belarus Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei told the media after the talks with Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Lavrov in Minsk on 29 May, BelTA has learned.

“I have no doubt that using the mechanisms worked out within the framework of the Union State and the Eurasian Economic Union we will be able to provide a more intensive growth of bilateral trade,” Vladimir Makei noted.

He said that during the talks, serious attention was paid to the schedule and content of the upcoming meetings in various formats, including the preparation for the fifth Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia.
