MINSK, 22 October (BelTA) – During his visit to Germany Belarus’ Minister of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Makei gave a speech in the German Council on Foreign Relations, one of Germany's most reputable analytical centers in Germany. The event was attended by more than a hundred representatives of German political, diplomatic, expert and academic circles, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

“Vladimir Makei laid out the foreign policy priorities of the Republic of Belarus and drew the audience's attention to a number of landmark international initiatives of the country's leadership, in particular, the launch of a broad international dialogue on security issues, the adoption of the declaration of responsible countries on the non-deployment of medium- and shorter-range missiles in Europe, the formation of the digital neighborhood belt,” the press service said.

The minister also held meetings at the Federal Chancellor Office and the German Bundestag, and also gave an interview to Suddeutsche Zeitung, one of the leading German media outlets.
