Belarus described as one of Eastern Partnership’s most developed economies

TALLINN, 30 May (BelTA) – Belarus is one of the most economically developed countries in the Eastern Partnership, BelTA learned from Estonian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sven Mikser.

The official pointed out the possibility of Belarus-Estonia cooperation in the area of digital government. In his words, Estonian advances in this area are focused primarily on protecting citizen data and building up the nation’s trust in digital services.

The Estonian minister of foreign affairs remarked that the Eastern Partnership Initiative had proven its viability. By the way, Estonia is home to one of a kind Eastern Partnership center, which has become the engine to drive cooperation with the Eastern Partnership participating states. The Estonian center has accumulated good experience of interaction, including interaction with Belarus.
